Frequently Asked Questions

How long do my brows take to heal?

On average, microblading or ombre/combo brow work can take approximately 7 -14 days to heal. But remember, everybody’s different!

What does aftercare look like for microblading?

You’ll need to take good care of those brows to get the best results - especially in the first 5 days. You’ll want to stay out of the sun, apply your aftercare cream, and keep them out of water. For details and a more specific timeline, check out my aftercare resource guide here.

What’s included with my service fee?

A free consultation, numbing cream, fully completed brows (in one session), one touchup appointment, and all the aftercare supplies you’ll need. I consider this is a great deal, as not all brow artists will include these items and can charge extra for aftercare items and touchup services, and I believe in being up-front with all costs associated with your brow journey.

How long does microblading take?

Service times differ for everyone. This is because everyone’s brows are unique, and there are a few variables that impact how long these services take. From how much previous work you’ve had, to your skin texture, to how long it takes to map your brows just the way you want before we start microblading, expect to be in the chair for 2-3 hours.

Can I get my brows wet after I get brow lamination?

Do not get your eyebrows wet or come in contact with steam for 24 hours after the service. Coming into contact with water could interfere with the lamination process and impact the longevity of your treatment.

How long does brow lamination last?

Brow lamination typically lasts between 4 and 6 weeks. The results differ for everyone, based on your brow texture, how you care for them after your service, and more.

How long does brow tinting last?

Brow tinting typically lasts between 2 to 4 weeks. The results differ for everyone, based on how much oil your skin produces, how frequently you wash your face, and more.

What is your deposit policy?

See my policies and resources page here for a full list!

Can I get microblading if I am pregnant or breast feeding?

No, it is not a good idea for pregnant or breastfeeding people to get microblading or combo/ombre brow services.

Can I get microblading if I have received recent Botox injections?

No, it is not a good idea if you have have had Botox in the last 2 weeks to get microblading or combo/ombre brow services. Because your brows may not be in the position they are normally in, it can impact how and where your brows are mapped which can negatively impact your results.

Can I get microblading if I have been on Accutane recently?

Generally speaking, no, it is not a good idea if you have have Accutane in the last 6 months to get microblading or combo/ombre brow services.

Will you still perform microblading services if I have previous work?

Possibly but it depends. I want to make sure you have the best outcome with your brows. I do not want to risk the integrity of my work if the previous work is going to impact that. In order to know if I can help you, I require pictures and a consultation with you in order to discuss how the previous work will impact your results prior to your appointment with me. Failing to comply with my Previous Work Policy can result in a forfeiture of your deposit. Please see my policies and resources page here for more details.
